Danish delight for Pragmatic Play Limited
Only days after hiring experienced industry professional Harry Biring to serve as its new Senior Business Development Manager and online casino games developer, Pragmatic Play Limited has announced that it has been certified by officials in Denmark.
Malta-based Pragmatic Play Limited stated that it offers a library of over 80 online video slots supporting some 22 languages as well as all major currencies. It declared that the certification from Denmark’s Spillemyndigheden authority has moreover allowed it to make its content available on an introductory exclusive basis to local operator Vera&John.
“We are delighted to have passed the stringent criteria required to supply operators in Denmark and are looking forward to offering our games to Danish players,” read a statement from Yossi Barzely, Head of Development for Pragmatic Play Limited. “We are also very pleased that this will allow us to extend our relationship with Vera&John and are confident that other operators will take its lead in the coming months.”
The developer additionally proclaimed that regulatory approval in Denmark follows its acquisition in April of a license from the United Kingdom’s Gambling Commission and “complements” the existing approvals it holds from similar authorities in Italy and Romania.
